[hr]The Public Affairs Research Institute (PARI), the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and the Mapungubwe Institute (MISTRA) present a conference on African State-Formation and Bureaucracy in Comparative Perspective. This conference examines state formation through the lens of bureaucracy.
Focusing primarily on Africa, it poses questions about the relationship between bureaucracies and state formation and seeks to develop comparative perspectives on the issue.
