WITS NEWS: Fourth Joburg Workshop on String Theory

The world’s leading experts in quantum gravity, quantum field theory and mathematical physics are at Wits this week for the Fourth Joburg Workshop on String Theory titled Semi-classical AdS/CFT, Integrability, and Finite N. They will stimulate discussion and interaction which might lead to new research directions and collaborations.
The invited speakers are world leading string theorists including Gleb Arutyunov (Utrecht), David Berenstein (UC Santa Barbara), Rajesh Gopakumar (Harish-Chandra Research Institute), Antal Jevicki (Brown), Sanjaye Ramgoolam (Queen Mary), Masaki Shigemori (Kyoto), Douglas Smith (Durham), and Alessandro Torrielli (Surrey).
