Lukholo Mazibuko

My soul feels most intoxicated when I stumble across my keyboard. As a writer, it is an act that has rewarded me with the blessing of creation. Creating is something that has come naturally to me, just as I always knew my name, I was going to create. Writing for academia, a publishing house, and myself have been my occupations. Now, I stumble across my keyboard as a student journalist for Wits Vuvuzela to deliver myself as a vessel to a larger message.

Ekta Seebran
Journalist
As a student of Journalism, I have found that artists discover their muse in the strangest of places. I found mine in anger, truly. My goal is to use my anger through writing for change, as any other journalist wishes to do. Change? Well, from what I’ve seen, the loudest voices in the world are echoed from the mouths of mediocre men (I will not name a few, though I’m sure a few came to mind). I want to rectify this unfortunate truth by raising the voices of extraordinary women. That is the change I endeavor to make.
